KARACHI – After nearly 12 hours of continuous Search and Rescue (SAR) operations in the Arabian Sea, the Pakistan Navy (PN) and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) have successfully located and identified the wreckage of the missing K2 Airways Boeing 737 cargo aircraft, which was declared missing last night.

According to official sources, the wreckage was recovered 53 nautical miles south of Ormara, following an extensive search involving multiple maritime and aerial assets.

Various air and sea-borne assets of the Pakistan Navy and PMSA were deployed immediately after the aircraft went missing. The coordinated operation led to the successful identification of the crash site and the recovery of significant portions of the aircraft wreckage from the sea.

Recovery teams continue to retrieve debris from the crash site, while Search and Rescue operations remain underway to locate the missing crew members. Officials said the operation will continue until all possible evidence and personnel are accounted for.

Authorities added that the recovered wreckage will be handed over to aviation investigators to help determine the cause of the accident. Further updates are expected as rescue and recovery efforts progress.
