A two-day training workshop on Arbitration designed and funded by the Ministry of Law and Justice, under its newly established International Mediation and Arbitration Centre (IMAC), concluded today at Sindh Judicial Academy. Judicial officers, lawyers, and professionals from different sectors participated in the workshop.
The trainers provided expert insights into best practices in arbitration.Mr. Justice Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro of the High Court of Sindh graced the occasion as a Chief Guest. He appreciated the efforts of the IMAC and the Ministry of Law & Justice in promoting ADR.
While addressing the backlog of cases, he underscored the significance of ADR mechanisms in expediting dispute resolution and alleviating the burden on courts. He proposed that arbitration laws should be amended to better align with the complexities of the modern world.
