New Delhi: Vikramaditya Singh resigned from the membership of the Indian National Congress due to political differences and the failure of the Congress party to realise and reflect the sentiments and aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
Vikramaditya Singh is the son of ex-Union minister Karan Singh and a grandson of the infamous Maharaja Hari Singh.
In a letter to Congress head Sonia Gandhi, Vikramaditya tendered his resignation.
Vikramaditya had joined Indian National Congress in October 2018 after resigning from Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Party (JKPDP).
