Large industry grows 5.15% in 1st Quarter

The Large Scale Manufacturing Industries (LSMI) production grew by 5.15 percent during the first quarter of the current fiscal year compared to the corresponding period of last year, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported Thursday.

The highest increase of 3.3 percent during July-September (2021-22) was witnessed in the indices monitored by the Ministry of Industries, followed by 1.57 percent increase in indices monitored by the Provincial Board of Statistics.—APP
