Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has said that the provincial government was taking pragmatic steps for the development and prosperity of the backward districts in the province. He said that completion of one mega project would be made possible in every district of the province.
He furthered that role of elected public representatives is of utmost importance to open new opportunities of development in all the districts of the province, including the tribal districts, and to ensure transparent completion of developmental projects.
The Chief Minister stated that according to the vision of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf the sustainable development of the underprivileged districts and provision of basic infrastructure will be ensured to the common man of the society so that a balanced and prosperous society can be shaped in the province. He said transparent and speedy completion of all developmental projects would be made possible.
This he said while talking to MPAs of different constituencies of the province at Chief Minister’s Secretariat Peshawar.
The MPAs met with the Chief Minister in his office and discussed issues of their constituencies and progress on the ongoing development schemes there. The Chief Minister said that the PTI government has introduced a unique and changed system of merit and rule of law in the province which is in line with the expectations of the people. We have to ensure the delivery of better services and facilities to the public.
The provincial government of PTI has strengthened the institutions and eliminated all kinds of political interference in the institutions. All promises made by the provincial government to the people will be converted into reality. The success of the PTI government can be gauged from the fact that despite the efforts of the opposition, the people of the province have given power to the PTI again in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which is an example in the history of the province.
The Chief Minister further said that those schemes in all the districts will be completed first which are due for completion so that rapid relief would ensure to the people.
