KP govt approved Rs.3b for NMDs

The officials of Khyber Pakhunkhwa education department visited district Khyber headquarter ‘Landikotal’ on Saturday and inspected various state run schools, also met with parents and teachers.
Talking to a ceremony organized at Government girls primary school Ash Khel, Muhamad Farid Khatak, the additional deputy director of education department for development Khyber Pakhunkkhwa said that KP government in the leadership of chief minister was dedicated to rehabilitate and repair the state run schools in the newly merged districts (NMDs).
He said that due to bad law and order situation some 262 schools had destroyed and some 300 partially damaged in NMDs. He said that these schools would be rehabilitated and repaired through the accelerated implementation program (AIP) of KP government. He urged the school buildings peons, teachers and other stake holders of the area to consider these schools as their own homes and protect, facilitate these institutions and students.
If our children receiving education and moral training at schools then we should think these schools as the holy and best places of the area. He said. Assistant district education officer of Landikotal, Misal Khan Shalmani also addressed the ceremony and thanked the KP government for releasing million rupees for Landikotal schools and other merged districts.
He urged the parents-teachers council members to spend this fund honestly so that the schools could be repaired and restored to provide best education environment to students.
