A crucial meeting chaired by Abdul Jabbar Khan, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh for Food, focused on key issues surrounding the food department’s operations. The meeting, attended by Secretary Food Khalid Mehmood Shaikh, Director Food Sindh Mohammad Hussain Baloch, and other officials, included detailed briefings on various departmental matters.
Abdul Jabbar Khan directed food department officials to present a five-year record of wheat procurement, bales, tenders, and wheat supplied to flour mills within seven days. Emphasizing transparency, he ordered the tagging of wheat in government warehouses to accurately determine the stock levels.
The Special Assistant also stressed the importance of integrity and hard work, making it clear that non-performing officials would have no place in the department. Additionally, he instructed the creation of an efficient grievance redressal system to address citizens’ complaints and ensure timely resolution of public issues.
