Islamabad saw a slight increase in number of new cases of coronavirus—90—in the last twenty-four hours taking the tally to 13,494. The number of deaths so far recorded in the federal capital is 137.
In Rawalpindi, three more hotspots of COVID-19 were identified which went under lockdown from Monday night.
The district administration had earlier sought permission from the Punjab government to seal these areas for a week.
On the other hand, eight other localities, including Narankari Bazaar and Bara Market, are going to be de-sealed.
The new hotspots are Dhoke Khabba, Gulistan Colony and Range Road Lane No 4 and PIA Colony.
