Indian forces’ personnel have arrested several people during house raids in different areas of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian army, paramilitary and police personnel as well as the sleuths of the dreaded National Investigation Agency and State Investigation Agency during cordon and search operations and house raids arrested around a dozen youth in Srinagar, Islamabad, Pulwama, Shopian and Jammu districts. Those detained include Sehran Bashir, Ubaid Nazir, Umer Amin, Huzaif Shabbir, Nasir Farooq and Showkat Butt. The detainees have been slapped with black law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
Meanwhile, the Delhi-controlled State Investigation Agency (SIA) during house raids searched the houses of several persons including leading Kashmiri businessman Imtiyaz Ahmad Kawoosa, lawyer Uzair Ahmad Ronga, Ishfaq Ahmad Wani, Shabbir Ahmad Qazi, Irfan Bashir Mir, Shabbir Ahmad and Rafiq Ahmad Mir in Srinagar, Islamabad and Pulwama districts. The SIA sleuths accompanied by Indian paramilitary and police personnel harassed the inmates and took away the house documents and bank documents, mobile phones and laptops.
The occupation authorities have attached and seized a shop namely “The Game Modification” owned by Umer Amin Thoker at Zirpara Bijbehara in Islamabad district of South Kashmir.—KMS
