In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian agency, Enforcement Directorate, along with paramilitary and police personnel raided the houses of APHC leader Muhammad Iqbal Mir, a religious leader Qazi Yasir and jailed Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman, Zaffar Akbar Butt in the territory.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the New Delhi probe agency along with Indian paramilitary and police personnel, today, raided the house of Muhammad Iqbal Mir in Islamabad town of the territory.
The house of illegally detained JKSM Chairman, Muhammad Akbar Butt alias Zaffar Butt, who has been languishing in Kot Bhalwal jail, Jammu, since 2019, was raided at Bagh-e-Mehtab in Srinagar.
Another team of the agency also raided the house of Hurriyat leader and religious scholar, Qazi Yasir in Qazi Mohalla area of Islamabad district.
During the house raids, the agency took property documents and mobiles of the family members of the leaders.
Pertinently, the Indian government is attaching the inherent properties of resistance camp and people of IIOJK who are raising their voice against Indian illegal occupation and for their demand of right to self determination as promised by the United Nations resolutions.—KMS
