In collaboration with USAID’s Higher Education System Strengthening Activity (HESSA), the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, organized a four-day training focused on mental health and microenterprise development (MED) for Pakistani higher education institutions.
Led by experts from the University of Utah and Arweqah, KSA, the training engaged participants from 16 public sector universities across Pakistan, fostering knowledge exchange and skill development. USAID-HESSA’s Chief of Party, Dr. Kenneth Holland, praised the ambition and dedication of IBA students and highlighted the program’s role in nurturing aspiring professionals and entrepreneurs.
Certificates were distributed to participants by Dr. Holland and Ms. Gwendolyn Schaefer from the Institute of International Education, U.S. The training aimed to empower universities to enhance student services and introduce innovative programs, ultimately making higher education more accessible and effective.
