High alert after ‘explosives’ found on Jammu-Pathankot highway

Indian forces have initiated a search op-eration along the Jammu-Pathankot highway in the Jammu region of occupied Jammu and Kashmir after the alleged discovery of suspicious materials near a bridge.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident prompted authorities to divert traffic on the highway.
The Indian forces, during the ongoing search operation, identified ‘explosives’ near a key bridge on the Jammu-Pathankot highway.

The bomb disposal squad has been deployed to the site to handle the situation.
An Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man committed suicide in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the CRPF man named Mir Singh ended his life by hanging himself with the ceiling fan of a hotel room at Ashok Nagar in Bhubaneswar.

“Police on intimation reached the scene with the forensic team and seized the body. The exact cause behind his death is yet to be ascertained. An investi-gation has been launched to find out the cause of the death,” the police said.—KMS
