Information Minister Shibli Faraz stressed that the incumbent regime wants to strengthen the institutions as people come and go but institutions remain.
He was addressing the inauguration ceremony of Photographic Exhibition ‘Freedom Struggle for Pakistan’ in Islamabad on Thursday. Shibli Faraz said, “We have to take the country towards development and self-reliance if we want to attain a dignified place in the comity of nations. He said on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, we should renew the pledge that we will not refrain from any sacrifice for the protection and progress of the country.”
“The 14th August reminds us that the Muslims of sub-continent regardless of uncountable problems achieved success in their struggle for a separate homeland under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam for their national and religious identity.
“Quaid-e-Azam turned the dream of Pakistan into a reality. The atrocities unleashed against Muslims in India as well as Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have vindicated Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of Pakistan. Later, talking to the media, the Information Minister said the government wants unity on matters of national interests. He said all the decisions will be taken in the best interest of the country.
