General Secretary, Pakistan National Heart Association (PANAH), Sana Ullah Ghumman has said that all tobacco products are injurious to human health and main cause of cancer and other diseases including heart disease.

Speaking to members of the PANAH during an important meeting here on Monday, he said that VELO is a nicotine pouch.
It is widely advertised, including on social media, while the law prohibits the promotion of any tobacco product.
VELO is readily available online, in every market, shop, hotel, park and other public places.

The PANAH GS said that there is currently no regulation on the promotion and sale of VELO Nicotine Pouches in Pakistan.
PANAH members agreed that the Government of Pakistan should immediately ban VELO to protect young boys, girls and women from nicotine addiction.
