Governor of Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, commended the efforts of the Rotary Club of Pakistan, particularly highlighting their response to the challenges posed by climate change. Speaking at a corporate charter reception for the Rotary Club of Pakistan held at the Governor’s House, he acknowledged the positive impact of the Rotary community in the province.
Governor Tessori congratulated Mario Cesar Martins de Camargo on his election as president and expressed his best wishes for his tenure.
He praised the Rotary Club’s initiatives, particularly the construction of smart villages for flood victims, which aim to alleviate their hardships. Governor emphasized that the projects undertaken by the Rotary Club—including tree planting, water and sanitation programs, and educational initiatives through the Rotaract and Interact programs—are commendable. He presented shields to ShahbazZaheer, Jam Qaim Ali, and others, while also distributing Rotary Club badges to recognize their contributions. Governor Tessori’s remarks underscore the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing the pressing challenges faced by communities affected by climate change and natural disasters.
