Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan chaired a meeting in Hyderabad under the treasury department to initiate an IT program. Maulana Bashir Farooqi, head of Saylani Welfare Trust International, participated in the meeting. Governor Sindh announced that after testing, 50,000 students in Hyderabad will undergo an Information Technology course.
The launch of the program’s website will facilitate the registration of over 6,000 students within two days, which is a promising start. He further stated that through this program, youth will become self-sufficient and capable of earning substantial incomes. The program, initiated at a cost of 50 crores, with donors already present, aims to start similar initiatives in other districts of Sindh soon. Governor Sindh mentioned that the IT program will commence testing within two months.
He emphasized that this program will serve as a beacon of hope for disillusioned youth and prove to be crucial for the country’s economy. Notably, no government funds have been allocated for this program.
