KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan further plunged on Saturday, tracking the drop in the international market.
The price of a single tola of gold moved down by Rs1,600, reaching Rs422,562, while 10-gram gold was sold at Rs362,278, down Rs1,372.

On Friday, gold had gained Rs5,300 per tola, closing at Rs424,162. The international gold rate also slipped, standing at $4,002 per ounce with a $20 premium, a decrease of $16.
Silver prices were not spared, dropping Rs65 per tola to Rs5,127.
Market analysts say the local decline reflects volatility in global precious metals, influenced by shifting investor sentiment and currency fluctuations.
