KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan surged by Rs5,300 on Saturday, November 01, 2025, amid upward trend in international markets.
As reported by the All Pakistan Saraafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold opened at Rs424، 162 per tola, while the rate for 10 grams stood at Rs362,650.
Gold remains one of the most sought-after precious metals globally due to its scarcity, durability, and long-standing role as a safe investment during periods of economic uncertainty. It is traded in several forms, such as physical bars, futures contracts, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
Traditionally, investors consider gold a reliable hedge against inflation and currency fluctuations. Major gold trading hubs include London, New York, and Shanghai, while global prices are influenced by interest rate shifts, currency strength, and geopolitical developments.
