Giga Mall, the city’s largest shopping mall, held a grand fireworks display on account of Defence Day Celebrations 2020. On this occasion, Mr. Najeeb Amin Giga, the Vice Chairman & CEO, Giga Group of Companies, hosted the event and Honorable Mr. Ammar Siddique Khan (MPA Punjab Assembly) participated as the Chief Guests.
September 6th holds a special significance in Pakistan’s history and takes pride in the valor of our military forces, revered across the globe for their wits, courage, and patriotism. Giga Mall stands in solidarity with our armed forces, as we remember and pay tribute to our brothers who laid down their lives for our beloved country.
The festivities started at precisely 00:00 hrs when the clock ticked down to ring September 6th. Thousands of excited citizens of the twin cities witnessed the spectacle as fireworks set off simultaneously, lighting up the midnight sky with the flag of Pakistan showing support for the brave armed forces. The spectacle continued for more than 20 minutes.
