Amid surge in the terrorists activities across the country the Pakistan army led security force gunned down two more wanted terrorists in an intelligence-based operation conducted in the North Waziristan tribal district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The security forces, as the Inter-Services Public Relations communiqué said, conducted an intelligence-based operation in the restive tribal district on the reported presence of terrorists.
“During an intense fire exchange, two terrorists were gunned down. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist acts in the area,” the ISPR said.
A sanitization operation was being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. Locals appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to security forces in eliminating the menace of terrorism. The ISPR concluded.
Earlier on March 18 the Security forces had gunned down a high value target identified as terrorist commander Sehra alias Janan along with seven other terrorists during an Intelligence Based Operation in North Waziristan District.
