ISLAMABAD – At least one person died while six people were injured in an explosion in Quetta’s commercial area Liaquat Bazar on Tuesday.
Initial reports said the blast was caused by an explosive device that detonated in a busy area of the provincial capital. Ambulances are rushing to the scene to transport the injured to nearby hospitals.
Health department officials claimed six persons injured in an explosion at Liaquat Bazaar are receiving treatment at the Trauma Centre of Civil Hospital.
One man who died is identified as Irfanullah, the son of Haji Amanullah, while the injured include Muhammad Azeem, Zainullah Amanullah, Habibur Rehman Mir Haji, Saagar Govand, Yousuf Masih, and Shabbir Hashim.
