Father of a victim allegedly stoned to death in Jamshoro, WazeeraChachaar, on Monday challenged a lower court order to exhume the body of his daughter in the Hyderabad circuit bench of the Sindh High Court (SHC).The top provincial court issued notices to all parties in the case for July 27 and summoned a detailed report into the matter from Inspector General of Police (IG) Sindh, Superintendent of Police (SP) Jamshoro and other concerned investigation officials. The father of the victim appealed to the SHC to halt a process to exhume the body of the stoning death victim.It is pertinent to mention here that District and Sessions Judge, Jamshoro on July 14 granted a request by police to exhume the body of a woman who was allegedly stoned to death in the district. He directed that the body be exhumed in the presence of Judicial Magistrate, Sehwan as per the law. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jamshoro had written a letter to the District and Sessions Judge, requesting permission to exhume the body of the alleged stoning victim’s body for medical examination.
