India was frustrated by the factual reports of the prominent media organization “Kashmir Media Service” which exposed the ongoing Indian atrocities and human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and is continuously propagating against KMS.
According to Kashmir Media Service, India is trying to mislead the world by its propaganda and spreading false and fabricated news reports through its rich media to hide its crimes from the world.
The whole world believes that India has deployed more than 11 lakh soldiers in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and has imposed one armed soldier on every eight to ten Kashmiris who are inflicting all kinds of atrocities on them.
The number of Indian troops is increasing day by day, sometimes for so-called elections and sometimes on some other pretext fresh troops are deployed in the occupied territory and are never recalled. Apart from regular troops, Rashtriya Rifles, Border Security Force , Central Reserve Police Force and other forces’ personnel can be seen all over the occupied territory. Only in Ladakh region, nearly four lakh Indian soldiers are deployed, where the total population is only five and a half lakh people.
There are camps of army, paramilitary forces and police at a distance of every 10 kilometers in the occupied Kashmir valley, which have made the lives of Kashmiris miserable. The deployment of Indian troops in large numbers is the main reason for serious violations of human rights in the territory, which have, so far, killed and injured lakhs of Kashmiris, while thousands are still detained in the jails of India and occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Thousands of Kashmiris have gone missing after being arrested, who have either been martyred or are in torture camps, and their families are still protesting for the recovery of their loved ones. Thousands of anonymous graves have also been identified in the occupied territory. The authorities are not providing any information about the people buried in it.
India’s well-known human rights activist Gautam Navlakha said in a media interview in 2017 that 6700 anonymous graves have been found in the occupied territory. He said India wants to hide its crimes by denying anonymous graves. He said if there are no anonymous graves in the territory, what is the report of the Human Rights Commission of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir about? He said the then puppet Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had himself admitted the fact that mass graves had been found in Kashmir valley.
Gautam Navlakha said the international community needs to intervene to find out the facts. No matter how much India does propaganda, it cannot hide the facts. There is not a single person in occupied Jammu and Kashmir who does not bear witness to these facts because there is not a single house in IIOJK which has not been a victim of Indian atrocities and has not been affected in one way or another.—KMS
