Islamabad Capital police apprehended eight criminals and recovered hashish, heroin, sheeshah and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said.
He said that, following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, Islamabad capital police intensified crackdown against criminal elements in order to eliminate the criminal elements from this city.
Following these directives, the Phulghran police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Adnan and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. Likewise Shahzad Town police team arrested an accused namely Khadim Hussain and recovered 1350 gram hashish and 100 gram heroin from his possession.—NNI
