LAHORE – A major development has emerged in the case concerning the custody of YouTube accounts and assets of renowned YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, also known as Ducky Bhai.
A hearing took place at the District Court Lahore regarding the custody of the accounts and assets seized from Ducky Bhai during his detention.
The prosecutor informed the court that the YouTuber had already uploaded eight videos.
The Assistant Director of NCCIA (National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency) questioned in court how Ducky Bhai could upload videos when the YouTube account is part of the ongoing case. He expressed concern that the YouTuber might delete or alter videos related to the case.
Ducky Bhai informed the court that he had submitted an affidavit assuring that no video would be tampered with. He further stated that the videos were uploaded by his editor, not him. The court then asked the accused to disclose the identity of the editor.
Ducky Bhai told the court that his editor is a friend who resides in Hyderabad.
The court inquired from the NCCIA director whether he was aware that account access might also be with someone else, to which the director replied that some account owners do not provide editors with access.
After hearing arguments from both sides and their legal representatives, the court reserved its verdict.
