LAHORE – Pakistani YouTuber Ducky Bhai, who recently spent three months in jail on charges of promoting gambling applications and alleged money laundering, has come under renewed public scrutiny after sharing details of his time in prison.
He was arrested earlier this year while travelling with his wife to Malaysia to attend an international digital creators’ event. Ducky Bhai was later released on bail amid allegations that he secured his release by paying a heavy bribe, a claim that has stirred debate on social media.
After leaving jail, the YouTuber uploaded a detailed vlog in which he spoke about what he described as injustices he faced during detention. In a subsequent interview, he discussed the food conditions in jail and their impact on his health.
Ducky Bhai said he suffered from stomach problems in prison and doctors advised him to consume only light, liquid food. He claimed that during this period he asked his brother to send Subway sandwiches daily. However, when the sandwiches did not arrive one day, he waited for three days and later learned that jail staff had been eating them.
His account has drawn criticism on social media as many users accusing him of exaggeration and calling his story unreliable. The controversy has sparked ongoing discussion about prison conditions and the authenticity of his claims.
