Customs recovers 2000kg spurious Supari

A Customs raid was carried out on a tip-off on a factory located in Site Area, the spokesman said on Monday. 2,000-kg of smuggled unhealthy supariwas recovered during the operation.

During the operation, 3 packets of Nagina Tukra Special Sweet Supari and 2 kg of Sodium Cyclamate were also seized.

The confiscated unhealthy supari and other items are worth Rs 2 crore, the Customs spokesman said
