A shocking revelation has emerged in the recent crackdown on smuggled goods in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Maymar area, implicating Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officials in the illicit operation.
A report by ASP Orangi has exposed a deep-rooted connection between Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officers and the smugglers. The report alleges that a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) armored vehicle was used in the smuggling operation, and one officer even maintained a warehouse for storing the smuggled goods.
The report details the smuggling of goods in three buses. Armed personnel, both in uniform and plainclothes, were present at the scene. By the time police arrived, two buses had been emptied. The third bus was still being unloaded.
