KARACHI – The Additional District and Sessions Court in Karachi on Friday rejected the bail plea of Natasha Danish in a drug case.
It is important to note that on September 6, a local court in Karachi had approved Natasha’s bail in the Karsaz accident case for Rs 100,000, while the decision on her bail plea in the drug case, registered under the Narcotics Act, was reserved.
The Sessions Court judge had stated that the decision on Natasha’s bail plea would be announced on September 13; however, the court has now announced the reserved decision, rejecting her bail plea.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Shahid Ali Memon pronounced the verdict on the plea.
According to the police, a case was registered against the accused under government prosecution, alleging the use of crystal meth (ice). Two cases were filed against the accused by the police.
