He said by prolonging their detention, they are being pushed to the death like senior Hurriyat leaders, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai and Altaf Ahmad Shah, who died in Indian captivity.
He said that the APHC Chairman, Masarrat Alam Butt, and other Hurriyat leaders and activists including Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Aasiya Andrabi, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Ghulam Muhammad Butt, Ayaz Muhammad Akbar, Shahid-ul-Islam, Peer Saifullah, Molvi Bashir Ahmad, Merajuddin Kalwal, Farooq Ahmad Dar, Naheeda Nasreen, Fehmeeda Sofi, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Dr Muhammad Shafi Shariati, Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo, Ghulam Qadir Butt, Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, Muhammad Ayub Mir, Muhammad Ayub Dar, Mahmood Topiwala, Muhammad Yousuf Mir, Showkat Hakeem, Mirajuddin Nanda, Muhammad Rafiq Ganai and Hayat Ahmed Butt were facing threat to their lives due to continued illegal detention.
