Effective measures should be taken on an emergency basis to further improve the water supply and drainage system across the city before Shab-E-Barat and the month of Ramadan Shareef, So that citizens do not face any kind of problems.
These instructions were given by CEO Water Board Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed to the Water Board officers during his visit to Liyari Town, On the occasion of the visit Chief Engineer Sewerage Aftab Alam Chandio, SE Liyari Anwar Memon, Executive Engineer Liyari Sewerage Muhammad Rahim Palijo, Executive Engineer Liyari Water Farzand Lakho, Executive Engineer Pumping Ghulam Muhammad Magsi along with President PP District South Khalil Hot, UC Chairman Haji, Abdul Majeed, Ghulam Yasin Niazi, Muhaib Raees were present.
On this occasion, the newly elected UCs chairman and citizens from Liyari including the leaders of PP Liyari informed the CEO Water Board about the various problems of water supply and drainage in Liyari and asked that effective steps should be taken to solve all the problems, CEO Water Board assured to solve all the problems on priority basis and asked the officers to solve all complaints of water supply and drainage across the city including Lyari on emergency basis and provide better facilities to the citizens.
He said that all sewage pumping stations should be ready all the time while generators and pumps should be kept fully operational, He further said that effective measures should be taken to provide uninterrupted water supply to the citizens because providing better water supply and drainage facilities to the citizens is one of our top priorities, At the end of the visit, the newly elected UC chairman from Liyari including the leaders of PP Liyari and the citizens also thanked the CEO Water Board.
