ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday urged the government to engage in talks with neighboring countries to tackle the resurgence of terrorism.

Bilawal commended Sindh Police for foiling a terror plot in Karachi’s Landhi area.

He expressed these words while talking to the reporters outside the Parliament House in Islamabad on Saturday.

The PPP chairman emphasized the need for concerted efforts to combat terrorism, recalling his past involvement in tripartite dialogues with China and Afghanistan.

He criticized the government’s handling of banned groups like the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and its policy towards released prisoners and former Afghan inmates.

Bilawal stressed the importance of a clear national security stance and adaptation to climate change, referencing recent floods.

Bilawal  underlined the importance of welcoming foreign delegations as a collective responsibility.

He expressed optimism about Saudi Arabia’s potential to invest in Pakistan, highlighting the recent successful visit of the Saudi foreign minister.
