LAHORE – ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ project was launched by Punjab government as CM Maryam Nawaz came up project of housing for low-income, and homeless people.
Chief Minister called for best possible housing designs for the scheme. Over 500 kanals of state own land will be used in Lahore, and some other cities to provide affordable housing for those living on rent.
As per details shared by PHATA, the government aimed to build thousands of homes. Rs1.5 million interest-free loans will be offered for home construction under 7-year term with payments in tranches.

Who Can Apply?
- The person applying must be head of the family as per NADRA records
- Permanent resident of Punjab
- No serious criminal record or outstanding debts.
- Registered with National Socio-Economic Registry with PMT score of 60 or less.
