LAHORE – Actress Saba Qamar has found herself in legal trouble after shooting a video while wearing a police uniform.
A petition was filed against the actress, seeking the registration of a case against her.
Additional Sessions Judge Ilyas Rehan in Lahore took up the matter. Petitioner Waseem Zawar argued that in a video circulating on social media, Saba Qamar can be seen dressed in a police uniform inside a dressing room, with an SP badge pinned to her uniform.
According to the petitioner, wearing a police uniform requires obtaining an No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the police department. He added that he had submitted a request to the Old Anarkali Police Station for the registration of a case, but no action was taken.
The court adjourned the hearing until January 14, 2026.
Last month, Model and actor Saba Qamar decided to take legal action against Lahore based journalist after the latter’s serious and controversial allegations about the Lollywood star.

Reacting strongly, Saba Qamar called the allegations baseless and defamatory, and declared she would pursue legal action to protect her reputation.
