On the special directives of Provincial Police Chief Dr. Sana Ullah Abbasi, police across the province have scaled up their efforts to tighten the noose against drug pushers, timber mafia, land grabbers mafia and other social elements that pose threat to regional peace. Similarly, the other day a combing operation, led by SDPO Razzar Alama Iqbal, was conducted in the limits of tehsil Razzar district Swabi. Heavy contingents of police including lady police took part in the operation. In the operation during search of expected hideouts of the suspects and proclaimed offenders 03 armed men were arrested who were wanted to local police in an attempted murder case from whom 02 Kalashnikovs, 02 M-16 rifles and 04 pistols of various bores were recovered. Additionally, 03 drug peddlers were arrested and from their possession a total of 03- -and-half KG of hashish were recovered.
