The Groom: Typically wears a formal suit, tuxedo, or three-piece ensemble in shades like cream, beige, navy, charcoal, or classic black. Aqba married a foreign national in the United Kingdom on August 9, with her mother, renowned poet and author Farzana Aaqib, revealing details of the ceremony while sharing the photographs on Facebook.
The wedding photos quickly grabbed attention, with Aqba seen posing in an elegant white bridal dress, while her husband appeared in a sophisticated formal suit. The couple’s visible tattoos also stood out in the photographs, giving their wedding shoot a distinctive and contemporary look.
Farzana Aaqib accompanied the pictures with heartfelt prayers for her daughter and son-in-law, wishing the newlyweds a life filled with peace, happiness and success and extending her blessings to both families.
Away from the spotlight surrounding her wedding, Aqba has an impressive academic background. She graduated from the University of Sussex in the UK around three to four years ago, earning a degree in Media and International Journalism.
Aqba’s father, Aaqib Javed, is a former Pakistan Test and ODI cricketer who has transitioned into one of the country’s prominent coaching roles. He currently serves as head coach of Pakistan’s national cricket team across all formats and is also a member of the PCB Men’s National Selection Committee.
Her mother, Farzana Aaqib, is an established poet. She says she has written over 70 books of English poetry and has received several international literary awards. Farzana has also written about Islamic history through a distinctive English poetry style in one of her books.
