Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Kuninori Matsuda called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the GHQ on Friday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters pertaining to mutual interest, regional security and measures to enhance bilateral cooperation came under discussion during the meeting.
The COAS appreciated Japan s contributions to Pakistan against Covid-19.
The visiting dignitary also praised Pakistan’s role for peace and stability in region.
