ISLAMABAD – The federal government has approved new transfers, appointing Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Shahid Afzal in a key leadership position at the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA).
According to separate notifications issued by the Establishment Division, Shahid Afzal has been appointed additional director general of the authority with the prime minister’s approval. He replaces Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed, taking up the assignment on secondment.
The administrative changes also include a two-year extension in the posting of Saima Munawar, additional commissioner at the Punjab Revenue Authority. Her extended tenure will be counted from October 17.
Sana Arif, a National Savings officer serving at the Central Directorate of National Savings, has been transferred. Her services have been placed at the disposal of the Cabinet Division on deputation.
