ISLAMABAD – Easypaisa’s Rs1 payment and promise of Honda CD 70 or iPhone continue to lure Pakistanis who are actively taking part in the game, but end up blasting the App online. After doing multiple attempts and getting nothing, users are raising questions about the transparency of the Rs1 Game.
The campaign invites users to pay just Rs1 for a chance to win high-value products, including mobiles, Apple Watches and motorcycles. Promotional screens describe the offer as an opportunity to get “items worth a fortune for just Rs1.” But a growing number of social media posts are now questioning what participants actually receive after paying the one-rupee entry fee — and whether some users may be misunderstanding the app’s celebratory messages.
One of the most widely discussed examples involves iPhone 14. Screenshots shared online appear to show Easypaisa screen carrying “Congratulations on Winning” message, accompanied by an image of a white iPhone 14 and celebratory graphics. A different transaction receipt shown alongside the screenshot records a successful Rs1 payment on August 29, 2026, at 10:28pm. The receipt identifies the selected product as an iPhone 14 and records the total payment as Rs1, with no additional charges shown.
The user who shared the screenshots claimed that despite the apparent winning message and the product being identified on the transaction receipt, the iPhone was never delivered. The screenshots have since fueled questions over whether such messages represent an actual confirmed prize win or simply form part of the entry process.
According to the promotional material shared online, participants select a product and pay Rs1 to receive a chance to win that product. The campaign has featured expensive items including iPhones, Samsung smartphones, Apple Watches and motorcycles. This means that the Rs1 payment does not necessarily amount to an outright purchase of the displayed product. Instead, participants enter a draw in which only selected users receive the advertised prize.
That distinction has become increasingly important as users circulate screenshots showing expensive products alongside transaction confirmations and congratulatory messages. Some participants have reportedly claimed that they believed they had won after seeing such messages, only to find that the advertised product was not subsequently delivered. Others alleged that they received their original Rs1 payment back instead.
How many people are participating?
The sheer number of participants displayed on the campaign has also attracted attention. A screenshot featuring a Samsung Galaxy A54 showed more than 231,000 participants, while the phone was displayed with an approximate value of Rs80,000. Another screenshot showed a Honda 70 CC motorcycle listed at Rs220,000, with the participation counter reaching approximately 677,887 users.
The unusually large participation figures have prompted social media users to question the relationship between the number of entries and the number of high-value prizes available. One post by user questioned how a motorcycle worth around Rs220,000 could be offered through a Rs1 entry system involving hundreds of thousands of participants.
The post contrasted the promotion with the everyday earnings of people who work long hours to make relatively small amounts of money. While the participation figures have sparked debate, they do not, on their own, establish whether the promotion is fraudulent or how many prizes are ultimately distributed.
Users demand proof of winners
Another major point of criticism concerns the verification of winners. A complaint shared online by Ruslaan Lone alleges that Easypaisa does not provide enough publicly verifiable evidence showing that the winners of the One Rupee Game actually receive the advertised prizes.
The complaint claims that the platform displays only limited information about winners, such as a partial name and a partially masked mobile number, without what the complainant considers sufficient photographic or video evidence of prize distribution.
The complainant called for an investigation into the scheme and requested that Easypaisa provide verifiable evidence of genuine winners. The complaint also called for greater transparency surrounding the campaign and questioned whether the promotion could potentially mislead participants.
The complaint itself, however, is an allegation and does not constitute an official finding of fraud or misconduct.
Complaint sent to FIA
The complaint was addressed to the Director Cyber Crime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency in Islamabad. In the document, the complainant described the One Rupee Game as a potentially misleading promotional scheme and asked authorities to examine its operation. The complaint referenced provisions of Pakistani law and requested that Easypaisa either provide public evidence confirming genuine winners or suspend the promotion until greater transparency is established.
The complainant also mentioned that screenshots of the Easypaisa application and participation records had been attached as supporting material.
The latest screenshots are not the first time questions about the One Rupee Game have appeared online. Similar complaints and screenshots have reportedly circulated on social media and in Facebook groups over the years. Users have described experiences involving a Rs1 payment, a product-specific confirmation or celebratory screen, followed by no physical delivery of the advertised item.
Some have also claimed that obtaining clear information from customer support can be difficult. Earlier discussions in 2026 had already raised questions about the transparency of the promotion, the absence of easily verifiable winner information and the way the campaign’s lottery-style mechanics are presented to users.

The growing online debate has led users to seek straightforward answers about the campaign. Among the key questions being raised are How are winners selected, How many people enter each draw? and How many prizes are actually awarded?
Easypaisa is yet to share public statement specifically addressing the latest allegations surrounding the iPhone 14 screenshots, the individual complaints or the wider criticism of the One Rupee Game. The campaign, meanwhile, continues to attract participation and attention online.
