Major Relief As Deputy Commissioner Fixes New Bricks Rates From Nov 2025

JHANG – The deputy commissioner of Jhang, a district of Punjab province, has re-fixed the prices of bricks and tiles to ensure equitable distribution and availability of this essential commodity at controlled/reasonable prices in the public interest.

Deputy Commissioner Ali Akbar Bhindar has issued a notification in this regard, stating the prices have been revised in exercise of the powers delegated under section 5 (3) and 5 (4d) of the Punjab Price Control of Essential Commodities Act, 2024 and in suppression of all previous orders in this respect issued by this office.

“I, Ali Akbar Bhindar, Deputy Commissioner Jhang, do hereby revise and re-fix the maximum retail price of bricks/1000 within the revenue limits of District Jhang till further order,” read the notification.

New Prices of Per 1000 Bricks from November 2025

The price of per 1000 Grade-1 bricks has been fixed at Rs9,000 while the Grade B will now be available at Rs6,000.

The price of per 1000 tile has been fixed at Rs9,000, according to the notification.

“No person/Brick Kiln owner/manager shall charge or cause to be charged the price of the above-mentioned commodity in excess of those fixed above or refused to sell the same at the fixed price,” the notification stated.

Every person engaged in the dealing of the above commodity shall have a notice board/price list displayed in a conspicuous place of his premises/establishment/shop showing the above fixed rates, DC said.

He added that this order shall come into the force with immediate effect within the revenue limits of District Jhang until it is withdrawn.

The deputy commissioner has warned that any contravention of this order “shall be punishable under the relevant provisions of law”.
