ISLAMABAD – Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Qazi Faez Isa, has called an important meeting of the full court judges to discuss the case concerning the Sunni Ittehad Council’s reserved seats, the sources familiar with the development said on Wednesday.
The sources said that the meeting is scheduled to take place today at the Supreme Court.
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court concluded its hearing on the reserved seats case and reserved its decision.
The Chief Justice mentioned that the announcement date for the decision has not been determined yet, as the judges will deliberate among themselves before making it public.
Earlier in the day, PTI Founder Imran Khan submitted his response in a case related to NAB amendments and asked CJP Isa to recuse himself from his cases for justice.
