A group of charged transgender stormed police station in Kharian in the wake of an alleged assault on community members by local cops.
Trans community members claimed that police officers took transgender woman identified as Hina along with another individual to the station where the two were subjected to violence.

Kharian Police Attack
As the incident went viral online, District Police Officer (DPO) acted promptly by ordering a thorough investigation led by SP Investigation.
A case has been filed against 27 individuals, including 20 unidentified, under different sections of the law. It was reported that transgender individuals previously reached a settlement with cops, but they attacked the police station
Meanwhile, police personnel accused of assault was also booked and proceedings are underway.
