Ramadan 2024 is winding down and Muslims will mark Jumma-tul-Wida, the last Friday of Ramadan that marks bidding farewell to Islam’s holiest month.

Jumma Tul Wida is observed across Pakistan with deep religious devotion as Muslims gather at mosques for special sermons, and prayers, raking in blessings of Allah Almighty.

The day holds significance for the faithful as it marks a crucial event. On this day, Muslims used to wake up early, take bath, and dress new clothes. People also gather in mosques to offer prayers in large numbers, recite Holy Quran, and engage in acts of charity.

This year, a large number of people will attend Friday prayers at mosques nationwide, offering special prayers for prosperity, and the unity of Muslims. Religious scholars will emphasize the importance of the fasting month and Juma-tul-Wida.

In Islamabad, the largest congregation for Juma-tul-Wida will take place at Faisal Mosque.
