President Zardari assures foolproof security for foreign nationals in meeting with Chinese envoy

ISLAMABAD – Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong called on Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, and the two discussed matters related to mutual interests.

In the meeting, President Zardari assured Ambassador Jiang Zaidong that Islamabad would take all-out measures to ensure the security of Chinese nationals working on different projects in Pakistan.

The ambassador met President Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr and underscored the need to increase counterterrorism cooperation and intelligence sharing to overcome the menace of terrorism.

President assured the Chinese envoy that Islamabad would take all necessary measures to ensure the security of Chinese nationals who are working on different projects.

Earlier, PM Shehbaz Sharif directed authorities concerned to ensure the security of Chinese nationals in Pakistan. He ordered the Interior Ministry and other law enforcement departments to take all measures to boost security.
