Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) has called for a central adhoc committee meeting to deliberate on extending support to Faisal Vawda in the upcoming Senate election, sources revealed. The meeting, scheduled for Friday, will explore various avenues of backing Vawda’s candidacy and finalize the party’s nominees for the Senate.
Amidst discussions, the party will prioritize its candidates for the crucial upper house election slated for April 02. Notably, two MQM-P MPAs have already endorsed Vawda’s nomination papers, signaling the party’s interest in his inclusion.
Rauf Siddiqui, a contender for Senate, confirmed the party’s eagerness to welcome Vawda into its fold, affirming the party’s pursuit of unity and strategic alliances.
