A group of eight terrorists attempted to infiltrate the Port Authority Colony but were promptly engaged and neutralized by security forces personnel. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his appreciation for the security forces’ valour and professional skills, acknowledging their crucial role in safeguarding the nation’s interests.
However, amidst the success in thwarting the attack, it is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the sacrifice of two more soldiers who laid down their lives in defence of the homeland. Their bravery and dedication exemplify the unwavering commitment of our security forces in the ongoing war against terror. The nation mourns their loss and will forever honour their sacrifices.
