The body of a missing civilian, Mohammad Mushtaq, has been found in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mushtaq had been missing for three weeks before his body was retrieved from a river in Sangpura area. The body is in the possession of police for medico-legal formalities, and an inquest proceeding has been initiated to gather further details into the incident.
It is important to note that three other youths who among many others were picked up by Indian troops from Rajouri district were killed in custody a few weeks ago. This incident highlights the ongoing human rights violations and extrajudicial killings perpetrated by Indian forces in IIOJK.—KMS
