Senior Minister of Sindh, Sharjeel Inam Memon, has strongly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party for opposing resolutions concerning Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Gaza in the National Assembly. Expressing disappointment and condemnation, Sharjeel Inam Memon underscored the significance of Shaheed Zulfiqar Bhutto’s contributions to Pakistan, particularly in leading the nation to nuclear capability.
He reiterated that Bhutto’s role in safeguarding Pakistan’s security is indelible. Memon lamented PTI’s opposition to the resolutions, suggesting a shift in the party’s loyalty towards Israel. He pointed out PTI’s protests against the country, even outside the International Monetary Fund (IMF), implying external influence on PTI’s decisions.
The Sindh Senior Minister emphasized that PTI’s stance undermines democratic values and solidarity with oppressed people globally. He criticized PTI for seemingly disregarding the plight of innocent Palestinian civilians enduring oppression and violence. Moreover, Memon highlighted PTI’s dangerous precedent in opposing the resolution on Gaza, indicating a departure from principles of justice and human rights advocacy.
