Okara

The Public Relations Department of the University of Okara (UO) on Friday organized an interactive session on Career Counselling for the students of the Departments of Communication Studies, Psychology, International Relations and Political Science. The professional journalists and media anchors including Assad Ullah Khan, Tariq Hafeez Bazmi, Salman Khan, Hussain Jutt, Umar Nazir Khan and Rana Bilal Tabbasum interacted with the students and answered their questions regarding the challenges and opportunities in the media industry. Addressing the students, Vice Chancellor UO Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zakria Zakar stressed the need of regular interaction and liaison between the university and industry. Assad Ullah Khan urged the students to resort to citizen journalism and tap the potential of the digital media for their career growth.
