The Lahore High Court has directed the Punjab chief secretary to submit a reply in connection with a petition challenging a plan to install a flag costing Rs400 million.
LHC judge Justice Raheel Kamran heard a petition submitted by a citizen, Aamir Sikandar, and asked the chief secretary to submit a detailed report on it.
The counsel for the petitioner argued that the country was facing an economic crunch and the federal government secured loan from the IMF and friendly countries.
